Method
Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Oven
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- 2
Mix Crisp Base
In a large mixing bowl, combine gluten-free oats, almond flour, maple syrup, melted coconut oil, ground cinnamon, and salt. Stir until well combined.
- 3
Prepare Fruit Filling
In a separate bowl, prepare your seasonal fruits (such as apples, berries, or peaches) by washing, peeling, and chopping them into bite-sized pieces. You can add a tablespoon of maple syrup and a pinch of cinnamon for extra flavor if desired.
- 4
Assemble the Dish
In a baking dish, spread the fruit filling evenly across the bottom. Top with the crisp base mixture, spreading it out evenly over the fruit.
- 5
Bake
Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the fruit is bubbling.
- 6
Cool and Serve
Allow the Maple Fruit Crisps to cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy warm, optionally topped with dairy-free ice cream or whipped coconut cream.
