Gather Ingredients
Collect all the ingredients: Aperol, cherry liqueur, bubbly, lemon wheel, and a bourbon cherry.

Prepare the Glass
Fill a large wine glass or cocktail glass with ice cubes to chill the glass while you prepare the drink.

Mix the Ingredients
In a cocktail shaker, add 2 oz of Aperol and 1 oz of cherry liqueur. Add ice and shake gently to mix the ingredients without diluting them too much.

Strain and Pour
Remove the ice from the glass. Strain the mixture from the shaker into the chilled glass.

Add Bubbly
Top the drink with 3 oz of bubbly (sparkling wine or soda water) to add effervescence.

Garnish
Garnish the spritz with a lemon wheel on the rim of the glass and add a bourbon cherry for an extra touch of flavor.
