Method

Steak Preparation

  1. 1

    Marinate the Steak

In a bowl, combine the olive oil, minced garlic, chopped fresh rosemary, salt, and black pepper to create a marinade. Rub this mixture over the ribeye steaks, ensuring they are evenly coated. Let marinate for at least 30 minutes at room temperature.

  2. 2

    Grill the Steak

Preheat the grill to high heat. Once hot, place the marinated steaks on the grill. Grill for about 4-5 minutes on one side, then flip and grill for another 4-5 minutes for medium-rare doneness. Adjust the time for your preferred doneness. Remove from grill and let rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

Fries Preparation

  1. 3

    Cut the Potatoes

Peel the russet potatoes and cut them into even-sized strips to ensure uniform cooking. Aim for about 1/4-inch thickness.

  2. 4

    Soak the Potatoes

Place the cut potatoes in a bowl of cold water and soak for at least 30 minutes to remove excess starch.

  3. 5

    Fry the Potatoes

In a deep fryer or a large pot, heat the vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C). Drain the soaked potatoes and pat them dry with paper towels. Fry the potatoes in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Remove and drain on paper towels, and sprinkle with salt immediately.
