Chill the Glass
Place your cocktail glass in the freezer or fill it with ice water to chill while preparing the drink.

Mixing the Cocktail
In a mixing glass, combine 2 oz of Vodka or Gin. If you prefer a classic martini, add 0.5 oz of dry vermouth. For a dirty martini, add 0.5 oz of olive brine instead.

Add Ice
Fill the mixing glass with ice. Stir gently for about 30 seconds to chill and dilute the mixture.

Strain into Glass
Remove the ice from your chilled cocktail glass. Strain the mixture into the glass using a strainer.

Garnish
Garnish with a single olive or a twist of lemon peel, depending on your preference.
