Method
Graham Cracker Crust
- 1
Prepare the Crust
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a medium bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, granulated sugar, melted butter, and salt. Mix until well combined.
- 2
Form the Crust
Press the mixture firmly into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch pie pan. Bake in the preheated oven for about 8-10 minutes or until lightly golden. Remove from oven and let cool while preparing the filling.
Key Lime Filling
- 3
Mix the Filling
In a large mixing bowl, combine the key lime juice, sweetened condensed milk, sour cream, egg yolks, and lime zest. Whisk together until smooth and fully combined.
- 4
Fill the Crust
Pour the key lime filling into the prepared graham cracker crust, spreading it evenly.
- 5
Bake the Pie
Bake the pie in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 10-15 minutes, just until the filling is set. Remove from the oven and allow to cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 3 hours, or overnight for best results.
Topping
