Cooking the Shrimp

Prepare the Boiling Liquid
In a large pot, bring 4 cups of water to a boil. Add 1 tablespoon of Old Bay seasoning and the halved lemon to the boiling water.

Cook the Shrimp
Once the water is boiling, add the peeled and deveined shrimp. Cook for 2-3 minutes or until the shrimp turn pink and opaque. Do not overcook.

Chill the Shrimp
Remove the shrimp from the boiling water and transfer to a bowl of ice water to stop the cooking process. Let them cool for about 5 minutes.

Drain the Shrimp
Once cooled, drain the shrimp and set them aside.
Preparing the Remoulade Sauce

Mix the Ingredients
In a medium bowl, combine 1 cup of mayonnaise, 2 tablespoons of Dijon mustard, 2 tablespoons of ketchup, 1 teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce, and 1 teaspoon of hot sauce.

Add Aromatics
To the mixture, add 2 minced garlic cloves, 2 tablespoons of chopped green onions, 2 tablespoons of chopped fresh parsley, 1 teaspoon of paprika, 1 teaspoon of salt, and 1 teaspoon of black pepper.

Whisk all the ingredients together until smooth and well combined.

Combine Shrimp and Sauce
In a large bowl, combine the chilled shrimp with the remoulade sauce. Toss gently until the shrimp are well coated.
