Preparing the Roast Beef

Preheat Oven
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Season the Beef
Rub the beef roast with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Ensure the entire roast is evenly coated.

Sear the Beef
In a large skillet over medium-high heat, sear the seasoned beef roast on all sides until browned, about 3-4 minutes per side.

Rest the Beef
Remove the roast from the oven, cover it with foil, and let it rest for 15-20 minutes before slicing.

Melt the Cheese
Once the ham is grilled, place the slices on top of the sliced roast beef. Sprinkle the pepper jack cheese generously over the ham and return to the oven for an additional 5-7 minutes or until the cheese is melted.

Sprinkle fresh parsley over the top of the melted cheese for garnish.

Slice the roast beef into thin pieces and layer them on the buns or rolls. Top with the grilled ham and melted cheese.
