Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Marinade

In a large bowl, combine the olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to create a marinade.

  2. 2

    Marinate the Shrimp

Add the jumbo shrimp to the marinade and toss to coat evenly. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, allowing the flavors to penetrate the shrimp.

Grilling

  1. 3

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 400°F or 200°C). Make sure the grill grates are clean and lightly oiled to prevent sticking.

  2. 4

    Skewer the Shrimp

If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for at least 30 minutes before grilling. Thread the marinated shrimp onto the skewers, about 4-5 shrimp per skewer.

  3. 5

    Grill the Shrimp

Place the skewers on the preheated grill. Grill the shrimp for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until they turn pink and opaque. Make sure to turn them carefully to avoid overcooking.

  4. 6

    Garnish and Serve

Once cooked, remove the shrimp from the grill and transfer them to a serving platter. Sprinkle with fresh chopped parsley for garnish and serve immediately.
