Crispy Wontons

Method

Poke

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ahi Tuna

Cut the ahi tuna into small cubes and place them in a mixing bowl.

  2. 2

    Mix Marinade

In a separate bowl, combine soy sauce, sesame oil, sea salt, and sriracha. Whisk until well blended.

  3. 3

    Combine Ingredients

Pour the marinade over the cubed tuna. Add the chopped green onions and sesame seeds. Gently stir to combine.

  4. 4

    Prepare Avocado

Slice the avocado into cubes or wedges and set aside.

  5. 5

    Chill the Poke

Cover the poke mixture and refrigerate for at least 15-20 minutes to let the flavors meld.

Crispy Wontons

  1. 6

    Heat Oil

In a deep skillet or frying pan, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat until hot.

  2. 7

    Fry Wontons

Carefully add wonton wrappers (2-3 at a time) to the hot oil. Fry until golden brown and crispy, about 1-2 minutes per side.

  3. 8

    Drain Wontons

Remove the crispy wontons using a slotted spoon and place them on a plate lined with paper towels to drain excess oil.
