Preparation of Ahi Tuna

Cut the Tuna
Using a sharp knife, cut the ahi tuna into small cubes, about 1/2 inch in size. Place the cubes in a mixing bowl.

Combine Marinade Ingredients
In a separate bowl, mix together the soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper. Stir until well combined.

Add to Tuna
Pour the marinade over the cubed ahi tuna and gently toss to coat all the pieces evenly.

Incorporate Green Onions and Sesame Seeds
Chop the green onions and add them along with the sesame seeds to the tuna mixture. Stir gently to combine.

Marinate
Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
Serving

Plate the Ahi Poke
After marinating, carefully remove the bowl from the refrigerator. Serve the ahi poke in small bowls or on a plate, garnished with additional green onions and sesame seeds if desired.
