Method

Cooking Spaghetti

    Bring a large pot of water to a boil.

    Add 1 tablespoon of salt to the boiling water.

    Add the spaghetti to the boiling water and cook according to package instructions, usually around 8-10 minutes until al dente.

    Once cooked, drain the spaghetti and set aside.

Making Fresh Tomato Sauce

    Heat olive oil in a saucepan over medium heat.

    Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.

    Chop the fresh tomatoes and add them to the pan. Cook for about 10-15 minutes until the tomatoes break down.

    Tear basil leaves and add to the sauce, season with salt to taste.

Preparing Meatballs

    In a bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, grated Parmesan, chopped parsley, salt, and pepper. Mix well.

    Shape the mixture into small balls, about the size of a golf ball.

    Heat olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Add the meatballs and cook until browned on all sides, about 10-12 minutes.

Making Meat Sauce

    Heat olive oil in a saucepan over medium heat.

    Chop onion and garlic, then add them to the pan and sauté until soft, about 3-4 minutes.
