Preparing the Bruschetta Base

Slice the Baguette
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Cut the French baguette into 1/2 inch thick slices.

Toast the Baguette
Arrange the sliced baguette on a baking sheet. Brush both sides of each slice lightly with olive oil. Bake in the preheated oven for about 5-7 minutes or until golden brown.

Add Garlic
After toasting, rub the toasted side of each slice with a garlic clove for added flavor.

Sprinkle the toasted baguette slices with salt and black pepper.

Crumble the Bacon
Once cool, crumble the bacon into small pieces.
Making the Herb Sauce

Blend the Sauce
In a food processor, combine fresh basil, fresh parsley, olive oil, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper. Blend until smooth.

Adjust Seasoning
Taste the herb sauce and adjust seasoning if necessary. Set aside.
Assembling the Bruschetta

Spread Cheese
On each toasted baguette slice, spread a generous amount of goat cheese followed by shredded mozzarella cheese.

Sprinkle the crumbled bacon over the cheeses on each bruschetta slice.

Drizzle with Herb Sauce
Drizzle the herb sauce generously over each assembled bruschetta.
Serving
