Method

Crust Preparation

  1. 1

    Make the Crust

In a medium bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs and sugar. Pour in the melted butter and mix until well combined.

  2. 2

    Form the Crust

Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan to create an even layer. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 10 minutes or until golden brown. Let it cool.

Filling Preparation

  1. 3

    Prepare the Filling

In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with an electric mixer until smooth and creamy. Gradually add in the sugar and continue to beat until well combined.

  2. 4

    Add Remaining Ingredients

Add sour cream, vanilla extract, and eggs one at a time while mixing on low speed. Finally, add flour and mix until just combined.

  3. 5

    Pour and Bake

Pour the cheesecake filling over the cooled crust in the springform pan. Bake in the preheated oven at 325°F (160°C) for 55-60 minutes, or until the center is set and only slightly jiggly.

  4. 6

    Cool the Cheesecake

Turn off the oven and crack the oven door. Let the cheesecake cool in the oven for about 1 hour to prevent cracking. Then, refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.

Topping Preparation

  1. 7

    Add Toppings

Before serving, top the cheesecake with fresh fruit and whipped cream as desired.
