Salad Ingredients

Method

Salad Preparation

  1. 1

    Chop the Romaine

Remove the outer leaves of the romaine lettuce and rinse it under cold water. Chop the lettuce into bite-sized pieces and place it in a large salad bowl.

  2. 2

    Add Tomatoes

Halve the cherry tomatoes and add them to the bowl. Chop the sun-dried tomatoes into smaller pieces if they are large, and add them as well.

Dressing Preparation

  1. 3

    Make the Dressing

In a mixing bowl, combine the mayonnaise, grated Parmesan cheese, lemon juice, minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and black pepper. Whisk together until smooth and creamy.

Crouton Preparation

  1. 4

    Prepare the Croutons

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Cut the bread slices into cubes. In a bowl, toss the bread cubes with olive oil, garlic powder, and dried oregano until well-coated.

  2. 5

    Bake the Croutons

Spread the bread cubes on a baking sheet in a single layer. Bake for 10-15 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy, tossing halfway through to ensure even browning.

Assembly

  1. 6

    Combine the Salad

Once the croutons are ready, add them to the salad bowl with the romaine and tomatoes. Drizzle the Caesar dressing over the salad and toss gently to combine.

  2. 7

    Serve

Serve immediately, garnished with additional Parmesan cheese if desired.
