Cooking Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Comeback Sauce
In a bowl, mix together mayonnaise, ketchup, hot sauce, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, paprika, and salt. Adjust seasoning to taste and set aside.
- 2
Cook the Patties
Preheat a skillet or griddle over medium-high heat. Divide the ground beef into two equal portions. Form each portion loosely into a ball. Place the balls on the hot skillet and smash them down with a spatula to form thin patties. Season with salt and black pepper. Cook for about 3-4 minutes until the edges are crispy, then flip the patties.
- 3
Add Cheese
Immediately after flipping the patties, place a slice of American cheese on each patty. Allow them to cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, or until the cheese is melted.
- 4
Toast the Buns
While the patties are cooking, lightly toast the burger buns on another skillet or in the oven until golden brown.

- 6
Assemble the Burgers
Spread a generous amount of comeback sauce on the bottom half of the toasted bun. Place a patty with melted cheese on top, followed by the Bibb lettuce and dill pickle slices. If using, top with a sunny side egg. Finish with the top half of the bun.

Serve
Serve the burgers hot alongside French fries if desired.
