Cooking Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Steak

Season the ribeye steak generously with salt and black pepper. Let it rest for about 30 minutes at room temperature.

  2. 2

    Cook the Steak

In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium-high heat. Add the steak and sear for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness. Remove from skillet and let it rest.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Baguette

While the steak is resting, slice the French baguette in half lengthwise and toast lightly in the skillet until golden brown.

  4. 4

    Make the Sauce

In a small bowl, mix the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, minced garlic, and chopped parsley together to create a flavorful sauce.

  5. 5

    Assemble the Sandwich

Slice the rested steak thinly against the grain. Spread the sauce on the inside of the toasted baguette. Layer the sliced steak and pickles inside the baguette.

  6. 6

    Serve

Close the sandwich and press down slightly. Cut into portions and serve immediately.
