Method

Preparing the Fries

  1. 1

    Fry the Potatoes

Heat vegetable oil in a deep fryer or large pot. Once hot, fry the frozen French fries according to package instructions until golden and crispy. Drain on paper towels and set aside.

Preparing the Buffalo Ranch Chicken

  1. 2

    Cook the Chicken

Cook the chicken tenders in an oven or deep fryer until fully cooked and golden brown. Toss the cooked chicken in a bowl with buffalo sauce and ranch dressing until evenly coated.

Making the Mac & Cheese

  1. 3

    Cook the Pasta

In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the macaroni pasta until al dente. Drain and set aside.

  2. 4

    Make the Cheese Sauce

In the same pot, melt the butter over medium heat. Whisk in the flour and cook for 1-2 minutes. Gradually add the milk, whisking constantly until the mixture thickens. Stir in the cheese until melted and smooth. Season with salt and black pepper.

  3. 5

    Combine

Add the cooked macaroni to the cheese sauce and mix until well combined.

Assembling the Dish

  1. 6

    Layer the Poutine

On a serving plate, layer the fries, followed by a generous portion of mac & cheese. Top with buffalo ranch chicken and finish with cheese curds. Drizzle extra buffalo ranch dressing on top as desired.
