Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Cook the Fries

Preheat the oven and cook the frozen French fries according to package instructions until golden and crispy.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Blackened Chicken

In a bowl, mix paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper. Rub this spice mixture onto the chicken breasts. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and cook the chicken for 6-7 minutes on each side until cooked through and blackened. Let rest before slicing.

  3. 3

    Make the Alfredo Sauce

Cook elbow macaroni according to package instructions. In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat, whisk in flour, and cook for 1 minute. Gradually add chicken broth and heavy cream while whisking. Stir in Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, salt, and pepper to taste, and let simmer until thickened.

  4. 4

    Make the Gravy

In a separate saucepan, melt butter, whisk in flour, and cook for 1 minute. Gradually add chicken broth while whisking. Season with salt and black pepper. Let simmer until thickened.

Assembly

  1. 5

    Assemble the Poutine

In a large serving dish, layer cooked fries, cheese curds, and top with the macaroni in Alfredo sauce. Add sliced blackened chicken on top and drizzle with gravy. Serve immediately.
