Base Ingredients

Sweetener (optional)

Flavoring (optional)

Method

Brewing Tea

  1. 1

    Boil the Water

In a medium pot, bring 4 cups of water to a rolling boil over high heat.

  2. 2

    Steep the Tea

Once the water is boiling, remove it from heat and add 4 tea bags. Let the tea bags steep for 5-7 minutes depending on your desired strength.

  3. 3

    Remove Tea Bags

After steeping, carefully remove the tea bags from the pot and discard them.

Sweetening (if desired)

  1. 4

    Add Sweetener

If you prefer sweetened iced tea, add 1 cup of granulated sugar or 1 cup of honey to the hot tea and stir until completely dissolved. If using stevia or any other sweetener, add to taste.

Chilling and Serving

  1. 5

    Cool Down the Tea

Allow the brewed tea to cool at room temperature for about 30 minutes.

  2. 6

    Refrigerate

Once cooled, transfer the tea to a pitcher and refrigerate for at least 1 hour until chilled.

  3. 7

    Serve over Ice

Fill glasses with ice cubes and pour the chilled tea over the ice. Garnish with lemon slices, mint leaves, or peach slices as desired.
