Falafel Preparation

Soak the Chickpeas
Soak the canned chickpeas in water for 1 hour. Drain and rinse before using.

Blend the Ingredients
In a food processor, combine the soaked chickpeas, parsley, garlic, cumin, coriander, baking powder, salt, and black pepper. Blend until the mixture is coarse but well combined.

Add Flour
Transfer the mixture to a bowl and stir in the flour, adjusting as necessary to achieve a moldable consistency.

Shape the Falafel
Using your hands, shape the mixture into small balls or patties, about the size of a golf ball.

Heat Oil
In a deep skillet, heat the oil over medium heat until hot.

Fry the Falafel
Carefully place the falafel balls into the hot oil, frying in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes per side.

Drain
Remove the falafel from the oil and drain on paper towels.

Assemble the Wrap
Place 2-3 falafel balls on a piece of pita bread or wrap, add the diced vegetables, and drizzle with tahini sauce.

Fold the wrap over the filling, securing it well, and serve immediately.
