Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Gravy

In a skillet over medium heat, melt 2 tablespoons of butter. Add the chopped onion and sauté until translucent, about 5 minutes. Then, add the sliced mushrooms and minced garlic, cooking until the mushrooms are softened.

  2. 2

    Make the Sauce

Pour in the beef broth and soy sauce. Bring to a simmer and let cook for about 10 minutes until the sauce thickens. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.

  3. 3

    Cook the Wagyu Patty

In another skillet, cook the wagyu patty over medium-high heat for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until it reaches your desired level of doneness. Remove from heat and let it rest.

  4. 4

    Fry the Egg

In the same skillet used for the patty, crack the egg and fry it sunny-side-up until the whites are set but the yolk is still runny.

  5. 5

    Assemble the Dish

On a plate, place a scoop of cooked rice, top it with the wagyu patty, pour the mushroom and onion gravy over the patty, and finally, place the sunny-side-up egg on top.
