Prepare roll
Place the 8-inch sub roll on a clean work surface. If the crust is hard, briefly steam or warm the roll for 10–20 seconds to make it pliable.

Spread condiments
Open the roll lengthwise without separating completely. Spread 1 tablespoon mayonnaise evenly on one inner side and 1 teaspoon mustard on the other inner side (or include packets on the side if preferred).

Layer meats and cheese
Lay 4 oz sliced turkey evenly along the roll, then top with 2 oz sliced roast beef. Place 1 slice provolone cheese on top of the meats, centered.

Add vegetables
Evenly distribute 1 cup shredded romaine lettuce along the sandwich over the cheese. Top with 3 tomato slices and 2 thin red onion slices.

Season
Lightly sprinkle 1 teaspoon salt and 1/2 teaspoon black pepper over the tomatoes and lettuce to season. If desired, add a splash of vinegar or oil (not included in ingredient list) to taste.

Close and finish
Gently close the roll, pressing lightly to compact the sandwich so it fits neatly in the box. For cleaner handling, wrap the sub in wax paper and optionally a sheet of foil if transporting longer distances.

Pack chips
If serving chips, place one single-serve bag of potato chips into the box, leaving space so it doesn't crush the sandwich. No further preparation required.

Or: Prepare quick cole slaw
If serving cole slaw, shred or ensure you have 1/2 cup shredded green cabbage and 1 tablespoon shredded carrot. Toss with 2 tablespoons cole slaw dressing until evenly coated. Taste and adjust seasoning; portion 1/2 cup into a small disposable cup with a lid or place directly in the box separated from the sandwich to avoid sogginess.
Dessert: Cookie

Place one large chocolate chip cookie into the box in its own compartment or in a small paper sleeve to keep it separate from moist items. If cookie is warm, let cool to room temperature to avoid condensation inside the box.

Assemble box
Arrange the wrapped sandwich, side (chips bag or cole slaw cup), and cookie into the disposable box so items are secured and not crushed. Include any requested condiment packets or a small cup with additional mayo/mustard on the side. Close the box and label if needed (name or order number).

Provide napkins and utensils if requested. For large orders, recommend calling the shop to arrange multiple boxes so they can be packed in trays for transport.
