Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).

Making the Batter

Melt Butter and Chocolate
In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the unsalted butter and semi-sweet chocolate chips. Heat in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until melted and smooth.

Mix Sugar and Eggs
In a separate bowl, whisk together the granulated sugar, large eggs, and large egg yolks until well combined and slightly thickened.

Combine Mixtures
Pour the melted chocolate mixture into the egg mixture, stirring to combine. Add in the all-purpose flour and vanilla extract, mixing until just combined.
Baking

Fill Ramekins
Divide the batter evenly among the prepared ramekins, filling each about 3/4 full.

Bake
Place the ramekins on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 12-14 minutes, or until the edges are set but the center is still soft.

Cool Slightly
Remove from the oven and let cool for 1-2 minutes.

Serve with Ice Cream
Invert each ramekin onto a plate, allowing the cake to release. Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top.
