Method

Marinade Preparation

  1. 1

    Combine Marinade Ingredients

In a medium bowl, whisk together the olive oil, red wine vinegar, minced garlic, paprika, oregano, cumin, salt, and black pepper until well combined.

  2. 2

    Marinate the Steak

Place the sirloin steaks in a large resealable plastic bag or a shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the steaks, ensuring they are fully coated. Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or preferably overnight for maximum flavor.

Grilling

  1. 3

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to high heat. If using a charcoal grill, make sure the coals are hot and ashed over.

  2. 4

    Grill the Steak

Remove the steaks from the marinade and let any excess marinade drip off. Place the steaks on the hot grill. Grill the steaks for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness is reached.

  3. 5

    Rest the Steak

Once cooked to your preference, remove the steaks from the grill and let them rest for about 5 minutes. This allows the juices to redistribute.

  4. 6

    Serve

Slice the steaks against the grain and serve immediately. Enjoy your Spanish Sirloin Steak with sides of your choice!
