Method

Prepare the Spicy Sauce

  1. 1

    Sauté Garlic

In a medium saucepan, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.

  2. 2

    Add Chipotle and Tomato Sauce

Stir in the chipotle peppers in adobo sauce and cook for an additional minute. Then, add the tomato sauce, lime juice, salt, and black pepper. Bring the mixture to a simmer and let it cook for 5-10 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Prepare the Shrimp

  1. 3

    Season the Shrimp

In a large bowl, combine the shrimp with 1 tablespoon of olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Toss until the shrimp are evenly coated.

  2. 4

    Grill the Shrimp

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Grill the shrimp for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until they are pink and opaque. Remove from the grill and toss in the prepared spicy sauce.

Prepare the Cream Salad

  1. 5

    Mix the Ingredients

In a bowl, mix together the sour cream, mayonnaise, lemon juice, chopped cilantro, and salt. Stir until well combined.

Serve

  1. 6

    Assemble the Dish

Serve the grilled shrimp on a platter drizzled with the spicy sauce along with a side of cream salad. Warm the flour tortillas and serve them alongside for wrapping the shrimp.
