Cook the Rice
Start by cooking the rice according to package instructions. Once done, set it aside to cool.

Prepare the Beans
If using canned black beans, drain and rinse them under cold water. If using dried beans, ensure they are cooked and ready to use.

Cook the Meat
Cook your choice of meat (chicken, beef, or pork) in a skillet over medium heat until fully cooked. Season with salt, pepper, cumin, and chili powder. Remove from heat and shred or chop into bite-sized pieces.

Layer the Ingredients
Place the large flour tortilla on a flat surface. In the center of the tortilla, layer 1 cup of cooked rice, 0.5 cup of black beans, 0.5 cup of shredded cheese, and 0.5 cup of cooked meat.

Fold the Tortilla
To fold the burrito, first fold the sides of the tortilla inward, then roll the bottom up towards the top until the filling is enclosed. Make sure to keep the filling tight as you roll.

Once the burrito is rolled, slice it in half and serve with your choice of salsa, sour cream, or guacamole.
