Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until it is browned and no longer pink, breaking it apart with a spoon as it cooks.

Drain any excess fat from the skillet.

Add taco seasoning to the cooked ground beef, along with 2/3 cup of water. Stir to combine, and let it simmer for about 5 minutes until the sauce thickens.

Baking Taco Shells
Place the hard shell corn taco shells on a baking sheet. Bake in the preheated oven for about 5 minutes until warm and crispy.

Preparing Toppings
While the taco shells are baking, wash and chop the lettuce into small pieces. Dice the tomatoes into small cubes.

Filling Tacos
Once the taco shells are ready, fill each shell with a spoonful of seasoned ground beef, followed by a handful of lettuce, diced tomatoes, and a sprinkle of shredded cheese.
