Cooking Pasta and Shrimp
- 1
Cook the Penne Pasta
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the penne pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente, typically around 10-12 minutes.
- 2
Marinate the Shrimp
While the pasta is cooking, place the peeled and deveined shrimp in a bowl. Add the chipotle marinade and let it sit for about 10 minutes to soak up the flavors.
- 3
Cook the Shrimp
In a large skillet over medium heat, add the marinated shrimp. Cook for about 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the shrimp turn pink and are cooked through. Remove from heat and set aside.
Bacon and Assembly

Cook the Bacon
In the same skillet, add the chopped bacon and cook over medium heat until crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.
- 5
Combine Pasta and Shrimp
Once the pasta is cooked, drain it and return it to the pot. Add the cooked shrimp and crispy bacon to the pasta, mixing well.
