Prepare the Filling
In a mixing bowl, combine shredded chicken, shredded cheese, salt, ground cumin, and garlic powder. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly combined.

Assemble Taquitos
Take a corn tortilla, spoon about 2 tablespoons of the filling onto one end, and roll it tightly. Repeat with remaining tortillas and filling.

Fry the Taquitos
In a large skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium heat. Once hot, carefully add taquitos, seam side down. Fry for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.

Cook the Beef
In a skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat, then season with salt, ground cumin, and ground black pepper.

Assemble Fried Tacos
Take a corn tortilla, add 2-3 tablespoons of the beef filling, and fold it in half. Repeat with remaining tortillas and beef.

Fry the Tacos
In a large skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium heat. Carefully add folded tacos to the oil and fry for about 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove and drain on paper towels.

Serve the Chips
Open the bag of tortilla chips and place them in a serving bowl.
