Burrito Fillings

Method

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Steak

Season the arrachera steak with salt and black pepper. Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat and add olive oil. Grill the steak for about 5-7 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness. Once cooked, remove from heat and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing.

  2. 2

    Grill the Vegetables

Slice the onion and poblano pepper. In the same skillet or grill, add a little more olive oil if needed. Grill the sliced onion and poblano for about 4-5 minutes, until they are tender and slightly charred. Remove from heat.

  3. 3

    Assemble the Burrito

Warm the flour tortillas in a dry skillet or microwave. Lay a tortilla flat and layer with sliced arrachera steak, grilled onions, grilled poblano, jack cheese, panela cheese, guacamole, and crema. Fold in the sides of the tortilla and roll it up tightly to form a burrito.

  4. 4

    Serve

Serve the burritos warm, with extra guacamole and crema on the side if desired.
