Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Pork Chops

Season the pork chops with salt and black pepper on both sides.

  2. 2

    Dredging Station

Set up a dredging station with three shallow dishes: one for flour, one for beaten eggs, and one for breadcrumbs.

  3. 3

    Coat the Pork Chops

Dredge each pork chop in flour, then dip in beaten eggs, and finally coat with breadcrumbs.

  4. 4

    Fry the Pork Chops

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Fry the breaded pork chops for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown. Remove and drain on paper towels.

  5. 5

    Assemble the Dish

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). In a baking dish, spread a layer of marinara sauce. Place the fried pork chops on top, then cover each with more marinara sauce, mozzarella cheese, and Parmesan cheese.

  6. 6

    Bake

Bake in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

  7. 7

    Garnish and Serve

Remove from the oven, sprinkle with fresh basil, and serve warm.
