Mixing the Drink

Prepare the Glass
Start by choosing a rocks glass. Fill the glass with ice cubes to chill it while you prepare the drink.

Combine Ingredients
In a cocktail shaker, add 2 oz of Bowmore 12 Year Old Scotch Whisky and 1 oz of Disaronno Amaretto.

Shake the Mixture
Add some ice to the shaker. Secure the lid and shake the mixture vigorously for about 10-15 seconds.

Strain and Serve
Remove the ice from the rocks glass. Strain the mixture from the shaker into the prepared glass over fresh ice.

Garnish
Add an orange twist on top of the drink for garnish. You can express the oils from the orange peel by gently twisting it before placing it in the glass.
