Veal Piccata

Method

Preparation Steps

1

Cook the Pasta

In a pot of boiling salted water, cook the angel hair pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

2

Prepare the Veal

Season the veal medallions with salt and black pepper on both sides.

3

Sauté the Veal

In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium-high heat. Add the veal medallions and sauté for 3-4 minutes on each side until browned and cooked through. Remove the veal from the skillet and set aside.

4

Make the Sauce

In the same skillet, add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter, lemon juice, and capers. Cook for about 1 minute, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet.

5

Combine and Serve

Return the veal to the skillet, coat with the sauce, and let it heat through for another minute. Serve the veal piccata over the angel hair pasta with marinara sauce, garnished with fresh parsley.
