Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Herb Slaw

In a large bowl, combine the sliced cabbage, julienned carrot, chopped herbs, rice vinegar, olive oil, and salt. Toss to combine and set aside to marinate.

  2. 2

    Make the Brown Miso Butter

In a small saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over medium heat. Once melted, stir in the brown miso paste and minced garlic. Cook for 2-3 minutes until fragrant and slightly bubbly. Remove from heat and set aside.

  3. 3

    Cook the Snapper

Season the snapper fillets with salt and black pepper. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat and add a small amount of olive oil. Once hot, add the snapper fillets skin-side down and cook for 4-5 minutes until the skin is crispy. Flip the fillets and cook for another 3-4 minutes until cooked through.

  4. 4

    Serve

Plate the snapper fillets and drizzle the brown miso butter over the top. Serve alongside the herb slaw.
