Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ribs

Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C). Rinse the baby back ribs under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels. Remove the membrane on the back of the ribs for better flavor absorption.

  2. 2

    Season the Ribs

In a small bowl, mix together garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and salt. Rub this seasoning blend over both sides of the ribs. Drizzle olive oil over the ribs and rub it in to help the seasoning stick.

  3. 3

    Cook the Ribs

Place the ribs on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil, bone side down. Cover them tightly with another layer of foil. Bake in the preheated oven for 2.5 to 3 hours, or until the ribs are tender.

  4. 4

    Glaze the Ribs

Remove the ribs from the oven and discard the top layer of foil. Brush a generous amount of yakiniku sauce over the ribs. Increase the oven temperature to 400°F (200°C) and return the ribs to the oven, uncovered, for an additional 15-20 minutes to caramelize the sauce.

  5. 5

    Garnish and Serve

Once the ribs are caramelized and sticky, remove them from the oven. Let them rest for 10 minutes before slicing. Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve with additional yakiniku sauce on the side.
