Hot Mess Roll Directions

1. Prepare the Sushi Rice

Rinse the sushi rice under cold water until the water runs clear. Cook the rice according to package instructions. Once cooked, let it cool slightly.

2. Prepare the Fillings

While the rice is cooling, chop the avocado and cucumber into thin strips. Mix the crab meat with the cream cheese and Sriracha sauce in a bowl until well combined.

3. Assemble the Roll

Place a sheet of nori on a bamboo sushi mat. Wet your hands and spread a thin layer of sushi rice over the nori, leaving about 1 inch at the top edge. Place a line of the crab mixture, avocado, and cucumber in the center of the rice.

4. Roll It Up

Using the bamboo mat, carefully roll the sushi away from you, pressing gently but firmly to form a tight roll. Moisten the edge of the nori with a little water to seal it.
