Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Filling

In a bowl, combine ground pork, chopped shrimp, soy sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix well until fully combined.

  2. 2

    Fill the Wontons

Take a wonton wrapper and place a small spoonful of the filling in the center. Moisten the edges with water, fold in half to form a triangle, then press the edges to seal. You can fold the two corners of the triangle together, securing with a bit of water if desired. Repeat until all filling is used.

  3. 3

    Cook the Wontons

Bring the chicken broth to a boil in a large pot. Carefully add the wontons and cook for about 5-7 minutes, or until they float to the surface and are cooked through.

  4. 4

    Add Vegetables

Add the chopped bok choy, sliced shiitake mushrooms, and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the bok choy is tender.

  5. 5

    Serve the Soup

Ladle the soup into bowls, garnish with chopped scallions, cilantro, and a sprinkle of fried garlic. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper to taste.
