1. Prepare the Broccoli
Wash the Chinese broccoli thoroughly and cut them into manageable pieces, about 3-4 inches long.
2. Heat the Wok
Heat the vegetable oil in a wok over high heat until it starts to shimmer.
3. Sauté Garlic
Add the minced garlic to the wok and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
4. Add Chinese Broccoli
Add the Chinese broccoli to the wok and stir-fry for about 2-3 minutes until they start to soften.
5. Add Sauces
Pour in the soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, salt, and black pepper. Stir to combine and cook for another 2 minutes.
6. Flambé
Carefully add the cooking wine to the wok and use a long lighter or match to ignite the wine. Allow the flames to subside as the alcohol burns off, stirring the broccoli until evenly coated.
7. Serve
Remove the wok from heat and transfer the flambéed Chinese broccoli to a serving plate. Enjoy hot!
