Method

Tea Preparation

  1. 1

    Boil Water

In a medium saucepan, bring 2 cups of water to a rolling boil over high heat.

  2. 2

    Steep Tea Leaves

Once the water is boiling, remove it from heat and add 2 tablespoons of Thai black tea leaves. Allow the tea to steep for 10-15 minutes, depending on how strong you like your tea.

  3. 3

    Strain Tea

After steeping, strain the tea into a heat-proof container to remove the tea leaves. Set aside to cool.

Sweetened Milk Mixture

  1. 4

    Combine Ingredients

In a separate bowl, combine 4 tablespoons of sweetened condensed milk, 2 tablespoons of evaporated milk, and 2 tablespoons of sugar.

  2. 5

    Mix Well

Stir the mixture thoroughly until the sugar is completely dissolved and the mixture is well combined.

Assembly

  1. 6

    Prepare Glasses

In a tall glass, fill it with ice cubes (about 1 cup).

  2. 7

    Combine Tea and Milk Mixture

Pour the cooled Thai tea over the ice, filling the glass about 3/4 full. Pour the sweetened milk mixture over the tea and stir gently to combine.

  3. 8

    Serve

Serve immediately with a straw and enjoy your refreshing Thai iced tea!
