Method

Cooking Pasta

  1. 1

    Boil the Pasta

In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente, about 8-10 minutes.

  2. 2

    Drain the Pasta

Once cooked, reserve about 1 cup of the pasta water, then drain the pasta and set it aside.

Cooking Vegetables

  1. 3

    Sauté Vegetables

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds, until fragrant.

  2. 4

    Add Vegetables

Add bell peppers, zucchini, carrot, broccoli, and cherry tomatoes to the skillet. Cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the vegetables are tender but still crisp.

Combining Ingredients

  1. 5

    Mix Pasta and Vegetables

Add the cooked pasta to the skillet with vegetables. Toss to combine, adding reserved pasta water as needed to create a light sauce.

  2. 6

    Season the Dish

Stir in Italian seasoning, black pepper to taste, and grated Parmesan cheese. Mix well until the cheese is melted and everything is evenly coated.

  3. 7

    Serve

Serve the Pasta Primavera hot, garnished with additional Parmesan cheese if desired.
