Boil Water
In a large pot, bring 4 liters of water to a boil. Add 1 tablespoon of salt to the boiling water.

Sauté Vegetables
In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat. Add 1 chopped medium onion, 1 chopped medium carrot, and 1 chopped stalk of celery. Sauté for about 5 minutes until softened.
