Cooking Instructions

1

Prepare the Marinade

In a bowl, mix soy sauce, sesame oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, black pepper, and salt. Add the strip steak to the marinade, ensuring it's well-coated. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.

2

Prepare the Scallops

Rinse the sea scallops under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels. Season lightly with salt and pepper.

3

Cook the Steak

Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Remove the steak from the marinade and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness. Let rest for a few minutes before slicing.

4

Cook the Scallops

In the same skillet or on the grill, add a little more sesame oil if necessary and cook the scallops for about 2-3 minutes on each side until they are golden brown and opaque.

5

Serve

Slice the steak against the grain and arrange it on a serving platter with the scallops. Garnish with sliced green onions and serve with lemon wedges on the side.
