Preparation of Ingredients

  1. 1

    Prepare Jalapeños

If using fresh jalapeños, slice them into thin rounds. If using pickled jalapeños, open the jar and drain the liquid.

  2. 2

    Prepare Avocado

If you are using a fresh avocado, cut it in half, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh out. Slice it into thin pieces.

Assembling the Nachos

  1. 3

    Preheat Oven and Arrange Chips

Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F). Spread the tortilla chips evenly on a large baking tray.

  2. 4

    Add Cheese

Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the tortilla chips.

  3. 5

    Add Jalapeños

Evenly distribute the sliced jalapeños over the cheesy chips.

  4. 6

    Bake Nachos

Place the baking tray in the preheated oven and bake for about 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

  5. 7

    Cool Nachos

Once baked, remove the nachos from the oven and let them cool for a minute.

Serving

  1. 8

    Add Salsa

Drizzle salsa over the nachos or serve it on the side for dipping.

  2. 9
