Method

Steak Marinade

  1. 1

    Prepare the Marinade

In a bowl, combine olive oil, soy sauce, lime juice, garlic powder, chili powder, black pepper, and salt.

  2. 2

    Marinate the Steak

Place the flank steak in a resealable plastic bag, pour the marinade over the steak, seal the bag, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes (up to overnight for best flavor).

Jalapeño Cream Cheese

  1. 3

    Prepare the Cream Cheese Mixture

In a mixing bowl, blend the cream cheese until smooth, then finely chop the jalapeños and mix them in with garlic powder and salt to taste.

Cooking the Steak

  1. 4

    Cook the Steak

Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Remove the steak from the marinade, letting excess marinade drip off. Cook the steak for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until desired doneness is reached. Let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing into thin strips.

Assemble the Burritos

  1. 5

    Assemble the K-Machos

Warm the flour tortillas slightly, then spread a layer of jalapeño cream cheese on each tortilla. Add a few strips of the cooked steak, and roll them tightly to form mini burritos.

Chile Con Queso

  1. 6

    Make the Chile Con Queso

In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the Velveeta cheese with milk, stirring until smooth. Add the can of diced tomatoes with green chilies and mix well.

Guacamole Dip

  1. 7

    Prepare the Guacamole

In a bowl, mash the ripe avocados and mix in lime juice, salt to taste, chopped cilantro, and diced tomatoes until well combined.
