Method

Burrito Filling

  1. 1

    Cook the Ground Beef

In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef. Cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes, breaking it apart with a spatula.

  2. 2

    Add Onion and Garlic

Add the diced onion and minced garlic to the skillet with the ground beef. Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until the onion is translucent.

  3. 3

    Season the Mixture

Stir in the taco seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Mix well and cook for another 2 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside.

Spinach Dip

  1. 4

    Prepare the Spinach

In a separate pan, heat a little oil over medium heat. Add the chopped spinach and sauté until wilted, about 3-4 minutes.

  2. 5

    Mix the Dip Ingredients

In a mixing bowl, combine the wilted spinach, softened cream cheese, sour cream, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until smooth and creamy. If desired, fold in shredded cheese.

Burrito Assembly

  1. 6

    Assemble the Burrito

Lay out a flour tortilla on a flat surface. Place a portion of the ground beef mixture in the center, followed by a generous spoonful of spinach dip.

  2. 7

    Roll the Burrito

Fold in the sides of the tortilla and then roll it tightly from the bottom up. Repeat with the remaining tortillas and fillings.

  3. 8

    Cook the Burrito

In the same skillet used for the ground beef, add olive oil and heat over medium heat. Place the burritos seam-side down in the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
