Main Ingredients

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Make the Marinade

In a mixing bowl, combine the olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, Dijon mustard, honey, salt, black pepper, and fresh dill. Whisk together until well blended.

  2. 2

    Marinate the Salmon

Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Ensure that each fillet is well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours for more flavor.

Grilling

  1. 3

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 375°F to 400°F or 190°C to 200°C).

  2. 4

    Grill the Salmon

Remove the salmon from the marinade and allow any excess marinade to drip off. Place the salmon fillets skin-side down on the grill. Grill for about 6-8 minutes, then carefully flip and grill for an additional 4-6 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).

  3. 5

    Serve

Remove the salmon from the grill and let it rest for a couple of minutes. Serve warm, garnished with additional fresh dill or lemon wedges if desired.
