Prepare the Filling

Mix the Ingredients
In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded cooked chicken, cream cheese, chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until all ingredients are well blended and creamy.
Assemble the Flautas

Fill the Tortillas
Take a corn tortilla and spread about 2 tablespoons of the chicken filling down the center of the tortilla. Roll the tortilla tightly around the filling and secure with a toothpick if necessary. Repeat with the remaining tortillas and filling.
Fry the Flautas

Heat the Oil
In a large skillet or frying pan, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).

Fry the Flautas
Carefully place 3-4 flautas in the hot oil, frying for about 3-4 minutes on each side or until golden brown and crispy. Remove flautas from the oil and place on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil. Repeat until all flautas are cooked.
Serve the Flautas

Add Toppings
Remove toothpicks if used, and place the fried flautas on a serving plate. Top each flauta with a dollop of sour cream, a sprinkle of shredded cheese, a spoonful of pico de gallo, and a scoop of guacamole.
