Cook the Ground Beef
In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula, about 5-7 minutes.

Season and Simmer
Stir in the taco seasoning, salt, black pepper, and water. Bring to a simmer and cook for an additional 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Warm the Tortillas
In a separate skillet, lightly toast the corn tortillas over medium heat for about 30 seconds on each side until warm and pliable.

Assemble the Tacos
On each tortilla, spoon a generous amount of the beef mixture. Top with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, shredded cheddar cheese, sour cream, and salsa.

If using pre-cooked rice, reheat it in a saucepan over low heat until warm. Serve alongside the black beans, heated if desired.
