Burger Toppings

Method

Burger Patty Preparation

  1. 1

    Mix the Ingredients

In a mixing bowl, combine the Angus ground beef, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Use your hands to mix thoroughly without overworking the meat.

  2. 2

    Form the Patties

Divide the meat mixture into two equal portions. Shape each portion into a round patty about ¾ inch thick. Make a slight indentation in the center of each patty to help it cook evenly.

Cooking the Burger

  1. 3

    Preheat the Grill or Skillet

Preheat your grill or a skillet over medium-high heat for about 5 minutes until hot.

  2. 4

    Cook the Patties

Place the burger patties on the grill or skillet. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on one side, then flip and cook for an additional 4-5 minutes on the other side, or until they reach your desired doneness.

Assembling the Burger

  1. 5

    Prepare the Toppings

While the burgers are cooking, wash the lettuce leaves, slice the tomato into thick rounds, and slice the onion into rings.

  2. 6

    Build the Burger

Once the patties are done, place each patty on the bottom half of the burger bun. Layer with lettuce leaves, a slice of tomato, and onion rings. Top with the other half of the bun.
