Burger Directions
- 1
Prepare the Patties
In a bowl, combine the ground beef with salt and black pepper. Mix gently to combine, being careful not to overwork the meat. Divide the mixture into two equal portions and shape them into patties.
- 2
Cook the Patties
Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the patties and cook for about 4-5 minutes on one side. Flip the patties and place a slice of cheddar cheese on top of each patty. Cook for an additional 4-5 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the patties are cooked to your desired doneness.

Fries Directions
- 4
Prepare the Potatoes
Peel and cut the potatoes into thin strips to resemble fries. Rinse them in cold water to remove excess starch, then pat them dry with a clean kitchen towel.
- 5
Fry the Potatoes
In a large pot or deep fryer, heat the vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C). Carefully add the potato strips in batches, avoiding overcrowding. Fry for about 5-7 minutes or until golden brown and crispy. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.
- 6
Season the Fries
While the fries are still hot, season them with salt to taste. Serve immediately alongside the cheeseburgers.
